| It has been three months since I have done
this editorial thing and what a three months it has been. The
duly elected hypocrites in DC attempted to pull of the biggest
power grab in the history of the world and the people responded.
Groups of Americans hit the streets with protest signs,
protesting emails, letters and phone calls. The American people
were determined that their voices would be heard. It worked! The
American people's voices were heard loud and clear. Barack Hussein Obama, Nance Pelosi and Harry Reid heard loud and clear and then told the American people just as clearly, We don't give a flying f**k what you want! We by God are the rulers!! You will do as we say. You don't have to like it but you will do it. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated! All their followers protested, "We will lose our jobs if we don't do what the people want." But the all powerful told them they should fall on their swords so that his power could survive. That didn't work so he fell back on ancient wisdom that ever democrat has his price. Bribes, threats, payoffs and midnight votes were afoot. The negotiations that had been promised on CSPAN in the light of day and full view of the people were instead moved to the cover of darkness. In the final tally, the will of three people trumped the will of millions of hard working Americans. Pelosi told the people that they would see what was in the bill after they had passed it. Seems I remember something in a campaign speech about it being on the web for three days so the people could read it before it was voted on but I heard so many lies that it is hard to remember. Now that we can read it, we find that it does not include provisions for children with pre existing conditions. It does force the taxpayers to pay for abortions. It does not stop lawyers from filing junk lawsuits to line their own pockets. All this with a price tag that our great, great, great grandchildren will be paying the interest on. Americans, you have the power! In seven months you can go to the polls and stop this madness. You can stop the change no one believes in and bring intelligence and integrity back to our capital. Get out there and vote but don't just blindly pull the lever for Republican or Democrat like you did last time. Look at the candidates, not the party. If the voted for this atrocity, vote their sorry asses out of our government. Listen to their campaigning. If they say things you like, see if they say the same thing to people who don't share your views. When they stop talking, turn your TV off and think about what they said. If you listen to the talking heads at CNN, NBC or FOX, they will spin it anyway they wish. They will pick the bites they want you to hear. If it ain't the candidate speaking live, turn it off. Listen to the candidate. If you don't know either candidate, leave that one blank. I don't care if you vote Republican or Democrat, vote for America! Or you can fall back on my original suggestion; Don't EVER Reelect anyone. Cliff We The People Stimulus Package |
